Buying dry fish in Pune
Tasty Dry Fish has sold dry fish at Hadapsar Mandai since 1964, from Shop 893 on the Pune–Solapur Road. Families buy by the quarter kilo, and hotels, caterers and fish retailers buy in bulk. Every rate on this page comes from the shop and changes when the shop's prices do.
Good dry fish is fully dry and firm, with a clean, salty smell of the sea. Avoid pieces that feel damp or sticky, or that have white or green patches.
Store dry fish in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, and in the fridge for longer storage. Wash or soak salted fish such as khari surmai or khara bangda before cooking.
We deliver to Hadapsar, Magarpatta and nearby areas. For bulk orders, tap Get quote or send the shop the kilos you need on WhatsApp.
